An established investment platform is looking to hire a Risk Associate to support its global risk and trading operations function.

This role sits at the intersection of risk monitoring, data analysis, and post-trade processes , offering strong exposure to market activities and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor and assess risk exposures across trading activities
2. Analyse data to support risk reporting, automation, and process improvements
3. Work closely with internal stakeholders across trading, technology, and operations
4. Support post-trade workflows , including reconciliation and issue resolution
5. Contribute to ongoing enhancements in processes, controls, and documentation

Requirements

1. ~7+ years of experience in risk, trading support, or financial operations
2. Exposure to financial markets and at least one asset class
3. Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Python and/or SQL i
4. Comfortable working with data and building simple tools or reports
5. Clear communicator with the ability to work across teams
6. Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a dynamic environment
7. Degree in a quantitative, business, or related discipline

Additional Advantage

1. Experience in reconciliation, clearing, or trade lifecycle processes
2. Exposure to risk analytics or portfolio monitoring
3. Familiarity with technical environments (e.g. scripting, Linux)
