Senior Bookkeeper - CBD - Growing Boutique Firm - Up to $100K Package

Your new company
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Bookkeeper to join a growing and highly regarded mid-tier accounting firm based in the Sydney CBD, working closely with a high-calibre client base. This firm was founded by an ex-Big 4 Partner and has built a strong reputation supporting high-net-worth individuals, family groups, and established private businesses.

Your new role
End-to-end bookkeeping responsibilities including:
-Accounts payable and receivable
-Payroll processing and related obligations (super, STP, etc.)
-Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
-General ledger maintenance and journal entries
-Prepare and maintain accurate financial records within Xero
-Liaise directly with clients, acting as a trusted point of contact
-Support month-end processes
-Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency

What you'll need to succeed
-3+ years experience in public practice bookkeeping
-Confident in managing your own client portfolio
-Bookkeeping related qualification or CA/CPA
-Strong systems capability, with Xero experience essential
-Strong communication and client engagement skills-Full working rights in Australia (unfortunately no overseas applications considered.)
