Company Overview
The Hacienda La Puente Unified School District is the largest in the San Gabriel Valley and one of the largest suburban school districts in the state. We also have the second largest singularly administered adult school in the state.
DISTRICT MISSION
The Hacienda La Puente Unified School District is dedicated to maximizing the talents, interests, and abilities of all its students, enabling them to meet the challenges and opportunities of a changing world. The District curriculum is based on the California State Frameworks. Classroom instruction is integrated, thematically applied, technologically integrated, and sensitive to the individual learning styles of students and the needs of the multicultural community we serve.

Retirement: Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERS)
PERS members that began prior to January 1, 2013 receive 2% at 55.
PERS members that began after December 31, 2012 receive 2% at 62.
Insurance: District contributes $11,900 (subject to change) toward annual premium for medical, vision, dental, and life insurance coverage
Holidays: 14 paid holidays per year
Sick Leave: 12 days per year
Vacation Leave: 26 days per year
