HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Staff Accountant is responsible for ensuring all general ledger activity is accurately and timely recorded in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and all federal and state rules and regulations. This member of the Finance team plays a critical role in maintaining financial integrity through detailed reconciliation, reporting, and analysis.

WHAT YOULL DO
- General Ledger and Financial Accounting: Maintains the companys general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of all subsidiary accounts. Performs reconciliation and review of accounts related to OPO Tissue Recovery Partners to ensure accuracy and proper financial reporting. Calculates rebates in accordance with contract terms and records related accruals. Reviews pricing controls to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established financial policies. Prepares and posts adjusting journal entries as needed ensuring all supporting documentation is properly maintained to support the integrity of financial data. Supports month-end and year-end close processes to ensure the integrity of financial statements and compliance with GAAP.
- Commissions Processing: Calculates and processes periodic commissions for LifeNet Health internal and external partners accurately and on schedule. Collaborates with cross-functional departments to verify data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure adherence to established contracts, compensation structures, and internal controls.
- Fixed Assets and Property Accounting: Manages accounting for company assets, including acquisitions, disposals and transfers. Maintains the property ledger, calculates depreciation, and ensures adherence with capitalization policies. Supports fixed asset audits and provides accurate reporting to support business and regulatory requirements.
- Audits and Compliance: Oversees quarterly consignment audits in collaboration with Strategic Services and Customer Experience, ensuring financial accuracy and completeness. Supports the annual financial statement audit by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and assisting with auditor requests. Prepares and submits compliance reporting in accordance with federal and state transparency requirements. Provides financial support to operational leaders to help them make informed decisions and improve processes.
- Tax and Regulatory Reporting: Assists with year-end tax compliance and state reporting by gathering, analyzing, and reconciling financial data for all applicable companies. Prepares the Medicare cost report, including related monthly accruals, and ensures all reporting aligns with applicable regulatory standards.
WHAT YOULL BRING
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Two (2) years of Accounting experience.
- Two (2) years of experience with analysis and interpreting complex financial data and reports.
Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- One (1) year of Experience in SAP.
- System Skills: Experience with an ERP such as SAP, Oracle.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and build relationships with all professionals at different levels within the organization.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/ workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/ pitfalls.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/ completeness and early/ on-time delivery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Suite, and advanced proficiency in Excel.

COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $57,363 - $76,484 annually
Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $57,363 annually (entry level qualifications) to $76,484 annually
(experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidates knowledge and relevant experience.
