As a Senior Accountant in Fund Accounting (1-year FTC), you will work with complex fund structures and manage the accounting for alternative asset classes such as real estate, private equity, and private debt investment vehicles. You will oversee the accounting records and reporting timelines for a dedicated portfolio of clients while coordinating regularly with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders.

In your first weeks as a Senior Accountant in Fund Accounting, you can expect to:

• Manage and maintain the accounting books and reporting deadlines for an assigned portfolio of clients
• Ensure timely and accurate processing, reconciliation, and review of all fund transactions
• Prepare, review, and validate financial statements and NAV calculations
• Support and guide junior team members in the preparation of accounts and daily operational tasks
• Collaborate closely with clients, auditors, and external parties to ensure smooth reporting cycles

To be considered for this role, you will need a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in the financial or alternative fund industry. You should also bring:

• Strong knowledge of alternative fund structures and asset classes (real estate, private equity, private debt)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles applicable to Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt Funds, Holding Companies, and SPVs
• Additional qualifications such as the CFA Program (Quartic training) or ACCA (a plus)
• Experience with consolidation (an advantage)
