Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will join the team as a Senior Accountant to provide expertise to the business and the wider accounting team. You will support a diverse client base and act as the go-to finance person for some of the organisation's more substantial clients. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of client accounting services.
In detail

Lead and oversee the completion of month-end reconciliations and reporting for a portfolio of clients.

Review and approve work prepared by junior team members, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.

Develop and review budgets, cash flow forecasts, and management reports for clients.

Support the Head of Accounting with client reviews, audit preparation, and strategic financial planning.

Serve as the primary accounting contact for designated clients, fostering strong relationships built on trust and transparency.

Provide mentoring and support to junior and trainee accountants, promoting a collaborative and learning-focused environment.

Work closely with other teams to deliver integrated financial and governance solutions.

Communicate complex financial information clearly to clients with varying levels of accounting knowledge.

What you'll need to succeed
You're a proactive and detail-oriented accountant who is confident managing multiple priorities, mentoring junior staff, and building trusted client relationships. You enjoy working with purpose-driven organisations.
Essential Criteria

CPA/CA qualification

Strong experience in month-end, budgeting, and financing reporting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead and support a team
