A day in the life.
As our Risk Services Coordinator you will be responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly billing operations, ensuring accurate invoice processing, and revenue tracking for all Risk Services practices. You will collaborate with stakeholders in Risk Services and Centralized Support to understand current billing practices and establish a consistent process for entering billing information into Epic that allows for timely sending of invoices.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
- Management of contractor billing and payment processes by accurately logging and updating completed invoices and billing data on the Revenue Tracker and Smartsheet, reviewing and verifying 1099 contractors' Harvest timesheets against submitted invoices, following up for corrections, and uploading formatted time details to the Midwest Billing SharePoint folder
- Experience supporting contractor onboarding and compliance by creating and maintaining candidate files in SharePoint, assisting contractors with completing onboarding paperwork and iPROC information to ensure completeness and adherence to requirements
- Support for comprehensive billing processes including completing regional billing request forms, uploading Statements of Work (SOWs) and Client Information Sheets for new clients, handling billing for ATS, Poster Elite, and Background Screening services, downloading and submitting invoices from Indeed, Loxo, and Talevation, and submitting approved contractor timesheets and invoices for payment processing and follow-up
- Facilitation of client communication by promptly responding to billing questions from clients and internal teams, reviewing and contacting clients with past due invoices to ensure timely payments, and conducting client outreach for service renewals and invoice processing
- Regular collaboration with department leadership and risk service leaders to review and approve billing projects, contractor timesheets, and invoices-submitting combined approvals through DocuSign-while effectively communicating with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve billing and onboarding questions and supporting the onboarding process for new 1099 contractors
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
- Experience with invoice processing
- 2+ years of experience within an insurance brokerage, or comparable experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and billing software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and collaborate effectively with multiple departments

The applicable base salary range for this role is $39,900 to $69,700.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
