You help the firm grow its business in a responsible way by anticipating new and emerging risks, and using your expert judgement to solve real-world challenges that impact our company, customers, and communities. Job responsibilities
- Evaluate conceptual soundness of model specification; reasonableness of assumptions; reliability of inputs; completeness of testing performed; correctness of implementation; and suitability / comprehensiveness of performance metrics and risk measures.
- Evaluate adherence to development standards including soundness of model design, reasonableness of assumptions, reliability of inputs, completeness of testing, correctness of implementation, and suitability of performance metrics.
- Liaise with front office, Finance and Risk professionals to monitor usage and performance of the models.
- Define, document, and enforce robust standards for AI/ML model development, validation, and monitoring. Lead initiatives to update standards in line with industry and regulatory changes.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of GenAI/LLM tools to support MRGR activities. Ensure tools are integrated, governed, and continuously improved.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- A Ph.D. or master's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Math, or Engineering.
- At least 3+ years of experience on quantitative research, development or review of quantitative models.
- Deep understanding of statistics, machine learning, and finance.
- Expertise in Generative AI, including Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt design, and fine-tuning techniques.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
