Your new role

As an Operational Risk Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the bank's operational risk framework. You'll work closely with business units to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate operational risks across the organisation. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and executing risk mitigation strategies and controls
• Conducting risk assessments and loss event analysis
• Monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and preparing risk reports
• Promoting a risk-aware culture across departments
• Ensuring compliance with domestic and international financial regulations
• Supporting internal audits and regulatory reviews

What you'll need to succeed

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or related discipline; a Master's or professional certification (e.g., FRM, PRM) is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operational risk within banking or financial services
• Strong understanding of banking operations, financial regulations, and risk frameworks
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and influence cross-functional teams
