A well-established organisation in the infrastructure sector is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a full-time role offering the opportunity to work closely with senior management and contribute to financial performance and operational efficiency.
Your new role
You will provide cost control and financial support across projects and operations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance. Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and analysing project costs against budgets and forecasts.
• Managing Work in Progress (WIP) schedules and project close-outs.
• Preparing monthly project and overhead reports.
• Performing month-end processes including journals, reconciliations, and cost allocations.
• Leading budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Conducting variance analysis and recommending process improvements.
• Maintaining strong internal controls and data integrity within the ERP system.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in management accounting or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of month-end and year-end processes, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.
• Ability to analyse complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle PeopleSoft preferred but not essential).
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
